Kirsty Amy Anne (Kirsty Reynolds) is a puppet-maker, visual artist and socially-engaged practitioner, with over 10 years experience devising creative workshops and theatrical productions in community settings. Kirsty is a neurodivergent artist from a working-class background, passionate about creating inclusive experiences with the arts. With extensive experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, and delivering sessions in social care settings such mental health wards and care homes, Kirsty has a flexible and responsive approach and a wide range of creative skills.
Kirsty graduated with a Distinction in MA Applied Anthropology and Community Arts from Goldsmiths University in 2017, and First-Class Honours in BA Photography from Edinburgh College of Art in 2010. She has since worked on commissions for The Barbican, London Metropolitan Archives, Studio 3 Arts and Octavia Foundation and is a Creative Associate with The Working Party. She has also delivered regular creative workshops at The Yard Theatre, WAC Arts, Mildmay Community Centre and Core Arts. Kirsty is currently a recipient of Arts Council England’s ‘Developing Your Creative Practice’ grant, focussing on puppetry under the mentorship of Judith Hope.
